OTTO Work Force Appoints Barteld Berkhout as New CFO
OTTO Work Force announces the appointment of Barteld Berkhout as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2026. With his arrival, OTTO Work Force strengthens the financial and strategic capabilities of the organization during a period of continued growth and professionalization within the international labor market.
Barteld brings an extensive track record in financial leadership roles within the logistics sector. He previously served as CFO at DHL Freight, where he played a key role in financial management, operational optimization, and international collaboration. He also held several executive positions within logistics subsidiaries in both the Netherlands and Germany, gaining deep experience in complex supply chain structures and international business operations.
At OTTO Work Force, Barteld succeeds Peter Bouman, who after more than seven years as CFO will continue his career within the organization in his previous role as Group Controller. This ensures that his valuable expertise remains within the company.
Barteld Berkhout:
I look forward to working with the team to further strengthen our organization, enable smarter growth, and continue improving our services for our clients.
Barteld Berkhout, CFO OTTO Work Force
“My career began at Manpower, so the professional services industry is not new to me. At DHL, I learned the importance of always being reliable, predictable, and of high quality. I see that same drive at OTTO Work Force. I look forward to working with the team to further strengthen our organization, enable smarter growth, and continue improving our services for our clients.”
Raymond Puts:

“We are very pleased to welcome Barteld. His extensive financial and managerial experience, combined with his deep knowledge of the logistics sector, brings exactly the reinforcement we need. Barteld has proven his ability to help organizations professionalize and prepare for further growth. He will also play a key role in supporting our three strategic priorities: growth, diversification, and transformation. At the same time, I am glad that we retain the many years of experience and expertise of Peter Bouman within our financial organization. Together, they form a strong foundation for the continued development of OTTO Work Force into the future.”
