He previously served as CFO at DHL Freight, where he played a key role in financial management, operational optimization, and international collaboration. He also held several executive positions within logistics subsidiaries in both the Netherlands and Germany, gaining deep experience in complex supply chain structures and international business operations.

At OTTO Work Force, Barteld succeeds Peter Bouman, who after more than seven years as CFO will continue his career within the organization in his previous role as Group Controller. This ensures that his valuable expertise remains within the company.
