Below you will find the privacy statement of the corporate website of OTTO Work Force ("OTTO"). We consider it important to be transparent and would therefore like to explain to you in this privacy statement what personal data we collect of when you visit our website www.ottoworkforce.com, or the sub-domains of this website. This website is aimed at providing information about our organization and our services.

We also explain why we collect this data, how we protect your data and what rights you have with regard to the processing of your data.



The OTTO organisation is an international temporary employment organisation which focuses on the placement of international employees at our clients in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland. OTTO therefore consists of multiple entities spread throughout Europe. In order to provide our services adequately and efficiently personal data are exchanged between the various companies within the OTTO organization. 1. General


OTTO is committed to privacy and will therefore handle your personal data with care. We are committed to complying with the relevant legislation in this field. We do this, together with our legal partner, by checking that our services meet the appropriate requirements, both in terms of data security and in terms of compliance with data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

OTTO subscribes to the principles of the GDPR which became effective on 25 May 2018.

2. What data is collected of me and why?


Cookies

When you visit www.ottoworkforce.com, data about your visit is automatically processed. We collect this data in order to provide a user-friendly website by, for example, adapting the content of the website optimally to the wishes and needs of our website visitors.

We do this by making use of functional, analytical and tracking cookies. Contact form

We also process your data when you provide it to us, for example data that you enter in a contact form. If you ask us a question or otherwise provide us with information via the contact form, the information you enter in the form, including the contact details you provide there, will be used to answer your question (and any follow-up questions) or for processing for the purpose for which you provided the data. We will not pass on this data without your consent.


The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time. An informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient for this purpose. The lawfulness of the data processing that took place up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.


We will retain the data you entered in the contact form until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to the storage of this data or the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Without a request for deletion, we will store this data in accordance with the applicable legal retention periods.


Job application

OTTO will process your personal data if you have applied for a job with OTTO or have otherwise indicated your interest in working for OTTO. OTTO has set up a separate job portal for this purpose. Special personal data

www.ottoworkforce.com does not aim to process special personal data and does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data being collected on children without parental permission. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a minor without such consent, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete this information.


3. What do we use your data for?

Some of the data is collected for the purpose of improving our website as we strive to provide flawless service on the website. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour across different websites in order to tailor our offer to your needs.


If you provide us with data via email, a contact form or for the purpose of receiving information, we will in principle process your data for the purpose for which you provided it.


If we want to use your data commercially to promote our services, you will be informed of this before you provide us with your data.


4. When do we start to collect personal data?

We collect your personal data from the moment you visit www.ottoworkforce.com and/or when you provide us with this data (e.g. via a contact form).

In addition, we collect your data when you apply directly for a vacancy, register on our job portal or at one of our recruitment offices in Europe or when you otherwise register or are registered with OTTO. 5. The legal grounds on which we process your personal data are set out in the following sections.

The processing of your personal data which we collect via www.ottoworkforce.com is based on various legal grounds. The majority of the data is processed on the basis of your consent or to protect our legitimate interests.


6. How long will my personal data be stored?

We will retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy statement or when we need to comply with legal retention periods.


7. Who receives your personal data?

OTTO will only share personal details with third parties if this is necessary in order to execute the agreement and/or to meet a possible legal obligation. If desirable and necessary we have concluded a processor's agreement with companies which process your data on behalf of OTTO in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

OTTO will only provide personal details to other third parties with your consent.


8. Can I request to see, correct or remove my personal data collected by OTTO?

Once you have visited our website, you can exercise the following rights at any time (free of charge):

  • Right to information: the right to be informed about the purposes and methods of processing your personal data and about third parties with whom your data has been shared.

  • Right of access: You have the right to access your Personal Data (commonly known as "data access request"). This allows you to receive a copy of your Personal Data that OTTO holds about you.

  • Right to rectification and completion: the right to request the updating or rectification of incomplete or inaccurate Personal Data

  • Right to object: the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data for reasons relating to your specific situation, where OTTO Work Force has invoked legitimate interests (or those of a third party). In some cases, we may be able to demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate reasons to process your data that outweigh your rights and freedoms

  • Right to restriction: the right to request the restriction of the processing of your Personal Data. This allows you to ask OTTO Work Force to stop processing your Personal Data, if one of the grounds mentioned in Art. 17 of the AVG applies

  • Right to Data Portability: to receive the Personal Data relating to you and provided by you, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as well as to transfer such Personal Data to another data controller, in the cases and within the limits specified in Art. 20 of the Act, if applicable

  • Right to be forgotten: to request the deletion of your personal data, if any of the grounds specified in Art. 17 of the GTC apply

  • Right to Withdraw your Consent: You may withdraw your previously given consent for the processing of your Personal Data and/or special categories of Personal Data at any time, regardless of the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before it was withdrawn
